A unique centre of excellence
This new 6,000 m² laboratory brings together our clinical operations, previously spread across several sites. It is designed to analyse thousands of samples from volunteer vaccine clinical trials conducted worldwide.
- 150 million euros invested in the building, supplemented by additional funds allocated to automated laboratory equipment.
- 6,000 m² dedicated to vaccine research and development.
- Objective: to accelerate the development of essential vaccines for patients worldwide.

Thanks to automation technologies and a robust digital infrastructure, this laboratory will significantly improve our efficiency and the speed of our research. It will allow us to better understand how our vaccines protect against infectious diseases and to advance our clinical programmes at an unprecedented pace.
This investment reaffirms Belgium's position as a hub of excellence in vaccine innovation. It embodies our commitment to unite science, technology, and the talent of our employees to get ahead of disease together, thereby making a lasting impact on the health of millions of people worldwide.
